Jessica

Jessica began her career in veterinary medicine in 1997, joining our healthcare team while still in high school. She earned her degree from an AAHA-Accredited Veterinary Technology program and became a Licensed Veterinary Technician(LVT) in 2012. Her dedication to patient care, professional growth, and team development led her into leadership, and she now serves as Technician Manager for both Northern Oaks Bird & Animal Hospital and Heritage Oaks Animal Hospital.

Jessica’s professional interests include pain management and geriatric care, with a focus on helping patients remain comfortable and supported throughout every stage of life. She is also passionate about building a positive workplace culture and believes that strong teamwork, communication, and support are essential to both exceptional patient care and a thriving veterinary team.
Outside of work, Jessica enjoys traveling, cooking, exploring new restaurants and vineyards throughout the Texas Hill Country, gardening, NFL football, and spending time at the river. She and her husband have two grown sons and share their home with Lenny, a Golden Retriever who prides himself on fitting as many toys in his mouth as possible, and Atlas, a very lovable cat who doesn’t contribute much, but makes up for it in charm.
