Dr. Alexis Sutter earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She previously received her Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. She is fluent in both Spanish and English. Dr. Sutter loves all creatures and has a special interest in wildlife and exotic medicine, with a specific interest in reptiles and amphibians, soft tissue surgery, and ophthalmology. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

She is the mom of a Maltese named Jenny, a Chihuahua-Dauchsand mix named Ava, Ball Python named Gully, Kenyan Sand Boa named George, and an Eastern Painted turtle named Gamera. Her hobbies include traveling within and outside of the country, catching up on the latest movies, and exploring the hidden gems of the city of San Antonio.
