I have been using the Northern Oaks Bird and Animal hospital since 1993. Unfortunately my first visit as a teenager was to put my aging dog, with a broken leg , down. When I had parrots it was great to have Dr. Byrd treat them, the few times it was necessary. They have always been caring and gentle with my animals. I have cats that have seen the Dr’s a few times. As of January, I had to put one of my precious kitties down because of cancer. Since then I once again have a dog. The doctors, technicians and reception staff are all genuinely friendly and accommodating. They are so patient and concerned when a pet is uneasy and scared. They also recommended for me to bring my large puppy in for an occasional treat just so that he wouldn’t associate the vet with bad feelings. I highly recommend the Northern Oaks Bird and Animal Hospital.
